To give yourself the best chance of getting results with CBD oil, buying an extract is the best place to start. It’s not the most appealing or sexy product in the world, but it’s darn good at achieving results.
The CBD market is a tricky one because it hasn’t been around as long as many other industries. I run across a name brand I have never heard of almost every week, and they all usually look pretty good. Unfortunately a lot of them are not as good as they look and have weaker products.
Struggle Finding Legitimate CBD
As consumers, we don’t have as good a way to evaluate a company’s product before buying as we do with other products. A lot of them look the same and promise the same results, so we end up having to try a bunch of them before finding one that works for us. This process is expensive and time consuming.
I’m here to help you cut through the fluff. I’ve gone through the process of buy tons of extracts from different companies and have found one that works extremely well for me.
To be completely honest with you, just because it works for me doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed to work for you. Maybe your body will resonate with a different brand better than mine did. It’s possible, but at the very least I hope you buy extracts from the company you choose to try and not other forms of CBD, especially if you’re new to trying it.
My First Time Trying Legit Oil
It took a lot of trial and error, and more money than I’d like to admit, before I found a good extract. I thought I was an educated shopper because I did a lot of research and would always comb over the test results, but I wasn’t having much luck.
Eventually I decided to try a company who’s advertising didn’t look all that appealing. Their test results showed 41% CBD, which I didn’t necessarily believe .After trying a ton of 15%-25% oils, I figured it was worth a try.
When I put it on my finger it was visibly different than a lot of the other products. It wasn’t runny at all, but actually thick like a paste. I thought to myself, ‘well this is different.” The runny oils always irked me because I couldn’t get one full serving on my finger without it running off. I even put them in the fridge but they were always still too runny.
This oil was a breath of fresh air. A whole serving could stay on my finger without being in the fridge. It was a miracle! After using it, I felt it in about 20 minutes. I was smiling from ear to ear and just happy all of the sudden. That’s when I realized I had a winner on my hands. None of the other concentrates I tried made me feel this good. I even tried them in varying doses, but never got the relief I was looking for.
This was the first time I felt the full effects of CBD, and it was awesome.
My Favorite CBD Concentrate
I love the 400mg paste from this company. It’s 41% CBD by volume. That’s the strongest I’ve come across. I actually believe it is that strong because I have to take twice as much with weaker CBD oils to get any effects. When I take 50mg of a 25% CBD oil, it doesn’t work as well as 40mg of this oil. That’s why I buy this one.
Well, it’s one of the reasons. The other reason is it’s actually the best deal I’ve been able to find online. The 400mg paste only costs $60. That’s like the price of one month of my phone bill. It’s really a steal for this industry. Companies charge that much for a lot less CBD, which is a shame.
It’s the most potent kind of CBD on the market, so it’ll give you the best chance of success. If you start off with other types of products which are diluted, there’s a good chance it may not work for you because it’s too weak.
In the unregulated CBD market, it’s common for companies to have less cannabidiol than they’re claiming. Buying a weaker product really puts you at risk at not getting a big enough serving. You will just have to go with what works. You may think you need a certain serving, but twice the amount is what it takes to get the desired effect because the product is so weak. Trial and error is your best friend here, but hopefully you start with a good product and don’t have to buy a bunch like I did.
One of the worst products to start off with is CBD vape oil, which is different than a cartridge. Vape oil is notorious for have very low concentrations of CBD and being dramatically overpriced. If you don’t buy a vape oil that’s claiming ridiculous amounts of cannabidiol, you probably will have to take upwards of 30 draws to get a decent serving, maybe even more. It’s just not practical.
When I’m in pain, I don’t want to hit my vape pen 30 or 40 times. I want to administer my CBD and be done with it. If you are planning on buying vape oil, consider getting a pure CBD cartridge or a vape oil that is highly concentrated. Some oils have 1,000mg, which would make it a lot easier to get your required serving.
Edibles are my favorite type of CBD, hence the name of my site. But in all honesty, a lot of edibles are way weaker than the pure extracts. It took a while for me to find a company with good edibles. A lot of what you’ll buy will not get the job done. It’s the truth.
They can still make a good starting point for people who don’t want to taste the hemp oil, but only if you buy legitimately strong edibles. After tying a concentrated hemp elixir and learning how your body reacts to CBD, then you’ll be able to tell a good edible from a weak one.
